La Valette Membership Update

The past months have seen us all gradually adapt to a new reality in which travel plans, along with other activities, had to be put on hold.

Witnessing the current pandemic bring to a halt an industry whose primary purpose is to move people closer together has not been easy. It has been both sad and surreal to see our normally bustling airport fall unusually silent as air travel to and from Malta came to an almost complete standstill.

Our dimly lit halls, shuttered outlets, and closed La Valette lounges may suggest that all airport activity has been suspended. But this is only partly true.

Behind the scenes, the company has been busy working on a health and safety plan designed to afford you peace of mind when you travel next through Malta International Airport; a plan that takes into consideration the recommendations of leading health organisations and prioritises your wellbeing above all else.

We want to make sure that your first journey through our airport is a pleasant experience; one which is not overshadowed by doubt that you could be putting your health or that of other guests at risk.

While the company still awaits the green light from the local authorities to resume operations, we would like to inform you that we shall be extending La Valette memberships for the duration of the airport closure, starting from the end of March.
