Reopening of Lounges and VIP Terminal
The La Valette lounges and VIP Terminal reopened their doors to guests on 1st July 2020.
Several changes have been introduced to ensure that the La Valette lounges, VIP Terminal, and VIP services are operated and offered in a way that conforms to the recommendations of the health authorities and safeguards guests’ health.
La Valette Lounges
To ensure that safe distances are kept at the La Valette lounges, a pre-booking system has been introduced.
To book use of lounge, including the High Altitude lounge, guests are requested to send an email on info@lavaletteclub.com or call on +356 2369 6464 at least 24 hours before your departure. These contact details should also be used to book any one of the ancillary services offered by La Valette Club.
Should guests choose to make a booking via email, which is the preferred option, they are to include their flight number and details (name and surname). An email confirming availability or otherwise would then be sent by the La Valette team. Regrettably, use of lounge may not always be guaranteed due to the fact that seating capacity has been revised in line with social distancing guidelines.
The wearing of a face mask or a visor is not obligatory while seated at the lounge; a mask must be worn at all other times. Moreover, if guests book or avail themselves of the chauffeur service, they will be expected to wear a face mask or visor in the vehicle.
VIP Terminal
Use of the VIP Terminal and VIP services may be booked via email on vipterminal@maltairport.com at least 24 hours before a flight. An email confirming availability or otherwise would then be sent by the La Valette team.
In order to ensure that safe distances are maintained at the VIP Terminal, from the 1st July onward, only one departure service at a time will be delivered, with bookings being accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
With regard to the chauffeur service, please note that only two guests per vehicle will be accepted. Moreover, guests will be requested to wear their face mask or visor while in the vehicle.
